Procedure & duration:

Theory: approx. 160–200 hours (8–12 weeks)

Internship: 4 weeks/200 hours in a care facility

Qualification: Theoretical and practical examination

Total duration: approx. 3 months (full-time), part-time models possible

Qualification: Basic Care Certificate (nationally recognised)​

Requirements​

No specific school qualification required

Motivation and enjoyment of working with people (especially in a medical/care context)

German language skills: Entry from A2/A2.2 possible if accompanying language training is completed. At adini, we offer job-related German training to optimally prepare our participants for the demands of everyday nursing work

 

 

Funding/financing

Education voucher: The training can be fully funded by an education voucher from the Jobcentre or the Employment Agency.

For companies: Employers can apply for funding for their employees through the Qualification Opportunities Act (Employment Agency) or the Participation Opportunities Act (Jobcentre).

Your prospects after graduation

 

With the certificate as a nursing assistant or with the basic nursing certificate you can start immediately:

 

  • To work in nursing homes, hospitals, outpatient services, day care or private households

  • To support people with basic care, mobilization, nutrition and everyday life

  • Perform simple medical tasks (such as measuring blood pressure)

  • Develop your skills, specialize, or train to become a qualified nurse.
